The Last Few Days

It’s been a while since I wrote here. And there is a reason for that – the Great Firewall of China has decided to block access to Blogspot for the past ten days or so. Well, to say it is frustrating would be an understatement.

So many things have happened since then. Everything is now confirmed for the HK and Bangkok adventure. I am a bit apprehensive about the Bangkok part – especially as I hope that my parents would really enjoy the experience and that there won’t be any hiccups. There is this part in me that aches to make things perfect for the ones I love. My idea of perfection may not be their idea of perfection, of course, but for what it is worth, a penny’s worth of smiles are worth a million worries.

I also can’t believe that I have probably finished what might be my last class in China. I know for sure that I will never come back to teach here again. Well, “never say never” warns the Universe but I hope it is never – to teach unresponsive students is a lot of waste of precious time and I don’t think I have time enough left anymore in this world.
